3 Data Collection on our Website

3.1 Log files

Our website is based on the Umbraco CMS and is hosted on the Umbraco Cloud, which in turn subcontracts to Microsoft Azure. You can find additional information on this topic at:

When you use this website, information is automatically collected and saved in log files, which your device's browser transmits to us. This information consists of:

  • IP address and operating system of the computer
  • browser type, version, language
  • name of your Internet access provider
  • date and time of the server query
  • website from which access originated (referrer URL)

Data are processed to enable the use and optimization of our website, to ensure system security and stability, and to enable internal statistic analyses. The basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.

3.2 Contact form

When you use our contact form, your information from the contact form is used to process the query and is stored in our CMS hosted by Umbraco in case there are follow-up questions. The data are deleted as soon as we no longer require your data to process your query, or if you ask us to delete it.

We typically require the following information:

  • first and last name
  • email address
  • telephone number
  • message content

We use the data you provide in order to answer your query. The legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) (a) , (b), and (f) GDPR.

3.3 Newsletter

If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on our website, you must provide us with an email address, as well as information allowing us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. We use this data to send the newsletter, for statistical analyses, and to optimize the newsletter, and we do not provide this information to third parties other than for the administration of the newsletter. For administration of the newsletter, we use dailypoint from Toedt, Dr. Selk & Coll. GmbH. The data processing is based upon Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

We retain the data that you provide to us for the newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and these data are deleted after your newsletter subscription has been canceled.
